Travis Schlichting has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque by the Dodgers, according to MLB.com. James McDonald was recalled from Triple-A as the adjoining move.
Our View:
He only worked 2.2 innings of relief with Los Angeles this season, and he won't be missed in fantasy leagues while working on his skills in the minors.

The Dodgers recalled Travis Schlichting from Double-A on Sunday, according to MLB.com.
Our View:
The 24-year-old converted third baseman has logged a 0.66 ERA with 12 strikeouts, seven walks and a .146 opposing batting average in 13.2 innings at Double-A this year. He replaces the DL-bound Eric Stults on Los Angeles' roster and will be used in middle relief.
