Rhyne Hughes has been called up from Triple-A Norfolk by Baltimore, according to MLB.com.
Our View:
Hughes has hit .353 with three homers and 11 RBI in 15 games at Norfolk this season. He has nice pop in his bat but is also prone to striking out, though he could see a decent number of at-bats in Baltimore given how awful their offense has been thus far.

Orioles prospect Rhyne Hughes blasted two homers and drove in four runs in just two at-bats in Wednesday's 12-2 Garpefruit League whipping of the Rays.
Our View:
Hughes was the player to be named later in the Gregg Zaun trade last season, and could push for a roster spot this year with a strong spring. The O's are going with the rapidly declining Garrett Atkins at first base, so if he slumps mightily it could open the door for Hughes.
