Our View:
Sutton came through when it counted today, and he was the unlikely hero that stopped the Reds' five-game losing streak. He has no fantasy value, but today is his time to shine.

Our View:
The move was made to clear room for the recently activated Alex Gonzalez, the Reds regular shortstop. Sutton can play multiple positions on defense, and will likely be back with the big club at some point this season.

Our View:
Sutton could see some time at short, but likely won't get any looks at second base with Brandon Phillips blocking the way. He was .248/.373./.464 in Louisville after coming to the Reds organization in the Jeff Keppinger deal.

Our View:
Sutton did not have any hits over four brief at-bats in the majors this season. He won't be missed in fantasy leagues while working on his skills in the minors.

According to FOX Sports, the injury-plagued Reds have decided to call up infielder Drew Sutton.
Our View:
Sutton was acquired in the Jeff Keppinger deal and is hitting .255 with five homers and 19 RBI in Triple-A. Sutton is likely getting the call because he's started games at every infield position this season. No word yet on a corresponding move, but someone is getting bumped.

Skipper Dusty Baker commented on Drew Sutton, who the Reds acquired from the Astros in exchange for Jeff Keppinger, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Baker said, "I talked to some guys over with the Astros. They liked him. They said he is a good player. He can run. He plays second base, first base. They believe he can play the outfield too with his speed and instincts."

The Reds sent him to Triple-A Louisville, but could join the club at some point during the season, depending on injuries.

The Reds acquired Drew Sutton from Houston on Thursday to complete the Jeff Keppinger deal from March 31, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Our View:
Sutton was immediately optioned to Triple-A Louisville. He's coming off a solid 2008 in Double-A at the plate and could be up with the Reds at some point this season if they experience any injuries in the middle infield or at third.
