Our View:
Cunningham holds a poor .151 average over 53 at-bats with Oakland, and won't be missed in fantasy leagues while working on his skills in the minors.

Our View:
Cunningham is having a fine season in the minors (.300-9-42), but has struggled with the big club this season (.152 average in 15 games). Still, with no more Matt Holliday or Jason Giambi, he could get some legitimate playing time.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the A's have optioned Aaron Cunningham to Triple-A Sacrameto. The team needed a roster spot for the activation of Nomar Garciaparra, and Cunningham was the odd man out.
Our View:
Cunningham had no fantasy value as a member of the A's, so his demotion shouldn't affect any rosters. Expect him to be back up at some point this year, probably for Nomar since he can't seem to stay healthy.

The 23-year-old has really struggled through his first 15 games this season. He is hitting just .159/.213/.273 and is not a fantasy option.

Cunningham isn't useful in fantasy leagues, but it's a good sign that he has recovering so quickly and well after a scary incident.

Our View:
The outfielder was taken to nearby Summit Medical Center for a CT scan, and his status is yet to be updated. Gregorio Petit replaced him in the lineup.

Our View:
Cunningham will provide depth in the outfield while Buck is out, but he only registered one hit over 13 at-bats with the team this season, and the top prospect is not yet ready to make an impact in fantasy leagues.

Our View:
Cunningham was 4-for-12 over three games in Triple-A after coming off the DL from a shoulder injury. He is a top prospect and has a solid combo of power and speed, and is worth a look as a flier for deeper leagues in case he pushes for playing time in Oakland's outfield.
