Our View:
Mayberry is expected to join the team today, and he will provide some roster depth over the next few weeks. The outfield in Philly is crowded, so he likely won't see a hug amount of playing time.

Our View:
This move clears room for new acquisition Ben Francisco. Mayberry has shown some power for the Phils this season, but a startling inability to get on base. Look for him to be left in the minors for a while to refine his swing.

John Mayberry had his second three RBI game in only five major league starts on Thursday, and helped pace the Phils to a 10-1 victory over the Rays.
Our View:
Mayberry is still only an occasional starter for the Phils, but could be worth a look if he keeps getting playing time and hitting in Raul Ibanez's absence.

According to the Twitter page of Phillies' beat writer David Murphy, the team has recalled outfielder John Mayberry to replace the injured Raul Ibanez. The report states that Mayberry will play right field and bat seventh in Thursday's game.
Our View:
Mayberry got two hits in his nine at-bats when with the Phillies earlier this season, and he is not expected to be any kind of fantasy option this time around either. Even if he does get some regular playing time, his fantasy value would still be very slim as he will likely return to Triple-A when Ibanez comes back.

Our View:
Mayberry has a future with the Phillies, and is worth holding as a flier for deeper NL-only leagues in case he gets recalled again.

Skipper Charlie Manuel hinted that John Mayberry may remain with the Phillies for a while, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Manuel said, "Mayberry is going to stay here a while. How long is up to Big John."
Our View:
Mayberry has one homer and two hits over eight at-bats with Philadelphia so far, and he provides the club with a needed right-handed hitter. The 25-year-old is worth a look for NL-only leagues for depth.

Our View:
The 25-year-old was hitting .277 with eight homers and 25 RBI over 37 games in Triple-A prior to his promotion. He could serve in the DH role during interleague play at AL parks. He has pop in his bat, and is worth consideration for NL-only leagues.
