Our View:
The rookie did not pitch very well, but the Twins scored enough runs for him to collect his first career win. He carries a 5.68 ERA over five starts.

Jeff Manship was hit with his first loss of the season on Saturday as the Twins fell to the A's 4-2. Manship lasted only four innings and allowed four runs on three hits while walking three and striking out three.
Our View:
Manship hasn't been great in his efforts in the rotation this season, and he certainly isn't doing the Twins' bullpen any favors. He has only had one decent outing this season, and he doesn't figure to produce many more.

Our View:
Manship only pitched 9.1 innings over two starts with Minnesota. He fared better in his previous outing, when he only allowed one earned run over five innings against Chicago.

Our View:
Manship pitched well, but was forced to take a no-decision as the Sox were leading 1-0 when he exited. That marked the rookie's first career start.

Minneapolis Star-Tribune writer Joe Christensen is reporting on his Twitter page that the Twins have recalled pitcher Jeffrey Manship to replace Glen Perkins on the roster. Manship has a 3.22 ERA for Triple-A Rochester this season.
Our View:
Manship has been impressive in Rochester this season, and he is coming off a game in which he threw eight scoreless innings while striking out seven. He shouldn't be considered much of a fantasy threat, as he will mainly be used as bullpen depth.

Our View:
The Notre Dame alum could be next in line for a start if the Twins need another starter this season, though the team has "solved" their problems in the short term by acquiring Carl Pavano. Manship now has a 3.22 ERA in eight starts at pitcher-friendly Rochester.
