Third base prospect Josh Bell has been dealt to the Baltimore Orioles organization, along with right handed pitcher Steve Johnson, in exchange for Orioles closer George Sherrill, according to MLBlogs.
Our View:
Bell was hitting .296 with 11 home runs and 52 RBI at Double-A Chattanooga this season. He's currently a third baseman, but is more likely to one day man first.
