Doug Slaten has been suspended three games for his involvement in the recent Marlins-Nationals brawl, according to MLB.com.
Our View:
Slaten goes three games without pitching plenty of times anyway, so this shouldn't be too big of a deal for him.

Our View:
He will take the roster spot of Matt Chico, and pitch out of the Nats bullpen. He's not worth a look in leagues with holds.

Doug Slaten has been outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse, according to Bill Ladson of MLB.com.
Our View:
The Nats needed to make room on their 40-man roster for Adam Kennedy. In 80.2 career innings, Slaten has a 3.68 ERA, so he's likely to get called up at some point in 2010.
