He will be placed on the disabled list, and is not expected back until September. Corpas has not pitched well this season, and is not worth stashing.

Our View:
Corpas has been out nearly a month with right elbow inflammation. He should be in line for some holds, and could be worth an own in leagues with middle relievers if he gets his 5.40 ERA down a little. His WHIP is above 1.40 since the beginning of 2008, however, so his value is limited.

Corpas could be activated from the DL prior to Thursday's game, but it is uncertain if the 26-year-old will return to his setup role immediately, namely as Joel Peralta has been pitching well in his absence.
