Our View:
Roberts raised his season batting average to .291, and is hitting .358 over 67 at-bats this month. The second baseman is worth employing in NL-only leagues while hot.

Ryan Roberts had a monster evening on Tuesday as the Diamondbacks beat the Pirates 6-0. Roberts went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored, and three RBI in the win.
Our View:
Roberts has been filling in nicely for the departed Felipe Lopez, but tonight was a bit more than anyone should expect from him. He is not a great fantasy option, but NL-only leaguers in need of an infielder may want to give him a look.

Ryan Roberts has been recalled by the Diamondbacks from Triple-A Reno, according to TSN.
Our View:
Roberts is batting .257 with five RBI and four stolen bases over 105 at-bats with Arizona this season, and should see action in his return with Felipe Lopez traded to Milwaukee. Roberts is worth a look for NL-only leagues.

MLB.com is reporting that the Diamondbacks have optioned infielder Ryan Roberts to Triple-A Reno to make room for the activation of starting pitcher Yusmeiro Petit on Saturday. Roberts is hitting .257 on the year.
Our View:
After starting off on a tear, Roberts has managed just three hits in his last 40 at-bats. The team feels like he will benefit from getting regular at-bats in Triple-A instead of scattered plate appearances in the majors. His fantasy value is gone for now.
