The Brewers have hired former Mets pitching coach Rick Peterson to the same position in Milwaukee, according to Sports Illustrated's Jon Heyman.
The move had been rumored for some time. Peterson has a mountain ahead of him, taking over the pitching staff of a team that had MLB's 27th best ERA at 4.83 last year.
