Matt Kemp launched a deep home run to center field in the fifth inning on Monday, but the Dodgers still managed to lose in the ninth to the Phillies. Kemp was 1-for-4 in the game with two runs scored and an RBI.
Kemp's homer was a bomb, but the Dodgers still fell to the Phillies on a Jimmy Rollins walk-off double. If LA is going to mount a comeback in this NLCS, Kemp is just one of the players that will need to hit the ball.
Matt Kemp's first inning single would be the only hit the Dodgers would get on Wednesday night, as the Padres dominated L.A. for a 4-0 win at home.
It figures that Kemp would be the Dodger to record the team's lone hit. The 25-year-old outfielder has done it all this season, batting .301 with 26 home runs, 100 RBI and 34 stolen bases.
Matt Kemp finished a double short of the cycle on Thursday as the Dodgers beat the Nationals 7-6. Kemp went 3-for-5 with a homer, a triple, two runs scored, and three RBI.
Kemo continues his strong 2009 campaign, and he has established himself as one of the better fantasy outfielders in the game. He can do it all, and he now has 100 RBI on the season.
Matt Kemp hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth inning on Wednesday, as the Dodgers beat the Pirates 3-1 at home.
He hit the homer batting cleanup, just the 17th time he had done so all season. With Kemp now sporting 94 RBI on the season, expect to see him batting there a lot more in 2010.
Kemp has hit all over the Dodgers lineup this season (including eighth), but finds himself in the power spot on Wednesday. It likely has to do with the fact that Kemp has homered in four straight games and is tearing the cover off the ball right now.
