Michael Bourn went 3-for-4 and stole his 49th base in the Astros 4-1 loss to the Cubs on Tuesday night.

Our View:

Bourn now has an 11-game hitting streak. He has four multi-hit games over that stretch and has stolen three bases and scored nine runs over that stretch.

Michael Bourn went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and two stolen bases in the Astros' 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Our View:

Bourn now has 48 swipes this season, good for first in the NL. He's non existent in the power categories, but is hitting close to .300 on the season and can win you a category or two with his legs.

Our View:

Bourn also stole two bases tonight, and he mde a couple of nice defensive plays as well. He is a stolen base machine, and he has developed into a very nice fantasy outfielder.

Astros' outfielder Michael Bourn returned to the team's lineup on Sunday after missing three games with a sore left groin, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Our View:

Bourn will resume his role as center fielder and leadoff hitter in Houston, and he should be fine going forward. Any leg injury to a guy who's speed is his top weapon is always a concern, but don't expect Bourn to be hurting much after his time off.

According to Alyson Footer's Twitter account, Michael Bourn is not in Wednesday's lineup due to a sore left groin muscle.

Our View:

The injury forced Bourn out of Tuesday's contest and appears to be a lingering issue. It's not considered serious, but he may need a couple days to rest it. Jason Michaels will take over center field until Bourn is up to snuff. Adjust your lineups accordingly.

Michael Bourn led the Astros in Friday's 6-5 win over the Nationals at Minute Maid Park, as he went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored. He hit a single and a solo homer off Scott Olsen. He also swiped a base.

Our View:

Bourn ended an 18-game drought without a homer, and continues to lead the NL with 29 stolen bases. He also paces the Astros with 54 runs scored.

Michael Bourn collected two hits, two runs and his 26th steal of the season on Thursday, as Houston trounced San Diego and a gang of bees 7-2 in Southern California.

Our View:

Bourn is quietly having a huge 2009, and is a solid option in the outfield, primarily because of his frequent thefts and higher than usual average this season.

Michael Bourn was huge for the Astros on Saturday as they beat the Twins 6-5. Bourn went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, a run scored, and two RBI.

Our View:

Bourn is a solid fantasy option, mainly because of his stolen base ability. The home runs are nice added bonuses when they come, but his value rests with his speed. He is a nice guy to have on your team, so if he is a free agent you may want to give him a look.

Michael Bourn was productive in Thursday's 10-3 loss to Colorado at Minute Maid Park, as he went 2-for-5 with an RBI. He hit a single and a double.

Our View:

Houston only managed seven hits in the game. Bourn tied his career season-high with 10 doubles. He has a hit in four straight games, with seven total hits (two doubles) over the span.

Michael Bourn was 1-for-3, scored the Astros' lone run and stole a base in a 6-1 loss to the Reds on Wednesday.

Our View:

Bourn has very little power, but is hitting .286 with 16 steals and is a decent outfield option even in mixed leagues if you need steals and runs scored. Keep in mind though, he only has 11 extra-base hits this season.

Our View:

Bourn is up to 15 stolen bases ranking him first in the National League. He is hitless in six of his last 11 games, but has multiple hits in each of his other five. He is hitting .288 this season, which was his on-base percentage last year.

Michael Bourn had a huge day for fantasy owners on Thursday, going 4-for-5 with a double, two runs, and two stolen bases. He now has 13 stolen bases on the season.

Our View:

Bourn has become a good fantasy option with his play so far this season. He is a base stealing maniac, and his .317 average is a nice change from his past history. If he continues getting on base, expect him to pile up the stolen bases and the runs.

Bourn is now hitting over .300 on the season and has swiped eight bases, while only being thrown out twice. He's far from a power threat, but if he can keep the average up he will be a valuable fantasy player.

Our View:

Bourn is a legitimate speedster and if he can figure out how to hit .300 he would be a legitimate fantasy threat. He's hitting .286 and has swiped four bags this season. He still needs some more seasoning, but he's improving.

Michael Bourn was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs scored in Houston's 4-3 loss to Cleveland on Saturday. He has 13 steals this spring.

Our View:

Bourn has gotten relatively hot of late and he's actually getting on base at a decent clip. That's newsworthy as he had a pathetic .288 OBP a season ago. The Astros are among the most aggressive teams on the basepaths, and no one gets for green lights than Bourn.

Our View:

Bourn raised his average to just .247 with his perfect day at the plate. However, he also now has 11 stolen bases this spring, and every indication points to another season of 40 steals. If he could do something with respect to his .288 OBP of 2008, he could be in line for more.

Our View:

Bourn is only hitting .184 this spring. He stole 41 bases in 2008, despite a mere .288 OBP. He should remain a solid source for speed this season.

Our View:

He now has four steals in spring action, and should be a rock-solid source for speed in 2009. Hopefully he can improve upon his .229 batting average and .288 OBP of 2008.

Our View:

Bourn was hideous at the plate in 2008, hitting .229/.288/.300. He is clearly of value for fantasy owners, however, due to his stolen base capability. He swiped 41 bags last season.
