J.J. Hardy went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Minnesota's 7-4 win over the White Sox.
Hardy has been hitting the ball since returning from the DL on July 3, hitting .379 in that time. Of course, he has only three RBI over the same span, but two of them have come since the break.
As expected, the Twins activated J.J. Hardy from the disabled list on Saturday, according to the
Hardy, who has been sidelined since early June with a wrist injury, will return as the Twins' everyday shortstop. His return is certainly welcomed, as the Twins are 24-11 with him in the lineup this season, and 20-25 without him.
The .217-3-13-hitting shortstop has been sidelined since June 7 with a wrist injury.

He's eligible to come off the DL on June 21, though it doesn't sound like he'll be back anytime this month. He'll first have to show the capability to swing, and then go out on a rehab assignment.
Updating an earlier item, J.J. Hardy's (wrist) placement on the 15-day disabled list was done retroactively to June 6.
Trevor Plouffe will apparently start in his place, with Nick Punto sliding over to second base. Considering this is the second time this season Hardy will miss time with the injury, don't expect his absence to be a short one.
