The Mariners only mustered seven hits in the game. Lopez managed to extend his hitting streak to five games.

Jose Lopez went 1-for-4 with a solo homer off Dan Wheeler in Tuesday's 4-3 win at Tampa Bay.

Our View:

Lopez crushed his fifth homer of September, and his 25th of 2009. He needs eight more RBI to reach 100 for the season.

Jose Lopez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in tonight's 4-1 win over Chicago at Safeco Field. He hit a double and a single.

Our View:

Lopez recorded an RBI in each of his last three games, and continues to lead the Mariners with 88. He also paces the club with 37 doubles.

Jose Lopez went 3-for-4 with his 23rd home run on Wednesday night, but it wasn't nearly enough for the Mariners, who lost 6-3 in Anaheim.

Our View:

Lopez has followed up his .297, 18 homer, 97 RBI 2008 with an equally impressive .272, 23 homer, 85 RBI 2009. He will be a solid pick at second base next season.

Lopez crushed a homer in back-to-back games, and has 22 for the season. He continues to pace Seattle with 83 RBI as well.
