The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed pitcher Sean Henn off the Baltimore Oriole roster, according to the team's Twitter page. Henn pitched 14.1 innings for the O's last season, and he had a 7.54 ERA.

Our View:

Henn wasn't protected by the O's, and the Jays felt like it was worth it to take a chance. Henn is a lefty who showed the ability to strike guys out last season, punching out 15 in 14.1 innings. Despite his ability to miss bats, there's little reason to pay Henn attention in fantasy.

Sean Henn has been acquired by the Orioles from the Twins, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View:

Henn has failed to impress during stints with the Yankees, Padres, and Twins. His fantasy outlook does not look to improve with Baltimore.

July 2, 2009

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, left-hander Sean Henn has been sent down to Triple-A Rochester.

Our View:

Henn was demoted to make room for Brian Duensing, who was just recalled. Henn had a 7.15 ERA in 14 games for the Twins this season, and was the logical choice to get the boot due to his poor performance.

Sean Henn has been called up from Triple-A to take the injured Glen Perkins' spot on the roster, according to The Sports Network. Perkins is dealing with left elbow inflammation. Henn is a reliever who currently holds a 1.13 ERA in the minors this season.

Our View:

The 28-year-old could develop into a fine reliever in a bullpen that has coughed up leads all weekend long. However, his fantasy value is nil.

May 18, 2009

Manager Ron Gardenhire hinted that he will be addressing the Twins' bullpen soon, and Sean Henn is believed to be a top candidate to be recalled from Triple-A, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:

The 28-year-old reliever holds a 1.13 ERA in the minors, and his fastball registered 95mph while hurling two shutout innings Sunday with Rochester. The Twins could add him by moving Boof Bonser to the 60-day DL.
