Uribe hit .289 with an .824 OPS in 398 at-bats last season. He was one of the better Giants hitters down the stretch, but he still may not be an everyday option for them. If he becomes one, he deserves to be bumped up draft boards.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Juan Uribe's agent may be willing to revisit the Giants one-year offer with an option.
This is far from a guarantee, but Uribe's people may be willing to think about the Giants offer. The infielder had a tremendous season in 2009, hitting .299 with 15 homers and 53 RBI, and was a steal at a $1 million minor league contract last January.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Juan Uribe is lobbying to stick with the Giants next season.
The 30-year-old infielder is having a surprisingly dominant season and could be an option for the Giants next year at second base. It would allow them to neglect Freddy Sanchez's option and get similar or better production at the position for a more modest price. Uribe was signed to a $1 million minor league deal in January and with a .299/.337/.505 line on top of his 15 homers and 53 RBI he's one of the best bargains in the National League.

Juan Uribe went 3-for-3 and hit his ninth homer of the season in a 4-0 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.
The homer was a two-run shot off Rookie of the Year candidate J.A. Happ that came in the sixth-inning. Five of Uribe's nine homers this season have come since August 12th.
Juan Uribe ended a testy day in San Francisco on Wednesday. The diminutive shortstop hit a towering two run home run in the 10th inning to help the Giants beat the Dodgers 4-2 on a day where two Giants coaches got ejected, the benches emptied and multiple awful calls went against San Francisco.
Uribe, with five on the season, doesn't hit too many home runs, but when he does they tend to be of the majestic variety. He also doesn't drive in too many runs, steal too many bases or start too many games, but with a .280 average, he's not a bad reserve SS/2B/3B for NL-only formats.
MLB.com is reporting that Giants' infielder Juan Uribe is suffering from a hamstring injury that kept him out of Monday's game. The injury is not expected to be serious, as Uribe was available to pinch-hit last night.
Uribe should be fine, and he could play as soon as tonight. He has no fantasy value to speak of, but he has been an offensive catalyst for the Giants as of late.
Juan Uribe went 0-for-1 but notched two RBI in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Phillies at AT&T Park. Both RBI were recorded on a sacrifice fly.

After a slow start to the spring, Uribe has picked it up. The Giants have a load of talented young infielders, and it remains to be seen what Uribe's roll will be, if anything.
Juan Uribe collected two hits in three at-bats and drove in a run Tuesday in the Giants' 6-4 win over Texas.
While with the White Sox last season, Uribe played in 110 games, his fewest since 2004. With a cluttered San Francisco infield, it's hard to imagine Uribe, who hit just .247 in 2008, landing anything more than a bench role, which would limit his playing time even further.
