Alfredo Amezaga (knee surgery) has been reassigned to the minors, according to MLB.com.
He's still recovering from knee surgery last year and probably won't be ready for a potential call-up until some point mid-season. He'll continue his rehab in the minors.
According to Ken Rosenthal on Twitter, the Dodgers have signed free agent utility man Alfredo Amezaga to a minor league contract.
Amezaga gets an invite to spring training as well and will earn $650,000 if he make the club, plus up to $800,000 more in performance based incentives. Amezaga missed most of last season due to microfracture knee surgery, but appears to be healthy and ready to go this spring. Last year in just 27 games he managed a disappointing .217/.267/.261 line, but is a versatile defensive player.
