Aaron Rowand provided an offensive boost for the Giants in a Wild Card battle with the Rockies on Friday. He went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the Giants' 6-3 win.
Our View:
Rowand has been solid for the Giants this month, hitting .302 with a pair of homers and ten RBI. San Fran will need similar production out of him for the rest of the season if they're going to make a legit October push.
August 17, 2009
Aaron Rowand had a solid outing in tonight's 10-1 win at the Mets, as he went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. He hit three singles and a solo homer off Livan Hernandez.
Our View:
Rowand raised his batting average to .273, and snapped a 30-game drought without a homer. He was hitless over his last five games as well, and hopefully fantasy owners won't have to wait long for his next good performance.
