According to MLBlogs.com, the Nationals are set to call up outfielder Jorge Padilla from Triple-A.
Padilla is arguably the best hitter in the Nationals' system. The 29-year-old is hitting .362 with four homers and 21 RBI for Triple-A Syracuse. He will replace Austin Kearns on the roster, who is headed to the DL with a thumb injury. If Padilla sees regular playing time he may be worth a look in NL-only leagues.
