Darnell McDonald has been recalled by the Reds from Triple-A Louisville, according to the Associated Press. Chris Dickerson (sprained ankle) was placed on the 15-day DL as the adjoining move.
Our View:
McDonald only hit .175 with no homers or stolen bases over 40 at-bats with the Reds this season, and does not garner fantasy attention outside of the deepest of leagues.

Darnell McDonald was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville by the Reds, according to TSN. He was designated for assignment last week.
Our View:
McDonald was not useful for fantasy leagues, as the reserve outfielder held an anemic .175 average over 40 at-bats, with no homers or stolen bases and nine strikeouts.

The Reds' Twitter page is reporting that the team has designated Darnell McDonald for assignment. He will be replaced by Jonny Gomes, who was called up in a corresponding move.
Our View:
McDonald was impressive in spring training, but he struggled for the Reds during the regular season. He had no home runs and only one RBI in 40 at-bats. No fantasy value here.
