Our View:
The Rays only mustered six hits in the game, and Kapler was their lone source of scoring. He had a good outing while filling in for the injured Carl Crawford in left field.

Kapler has hit a home run in each of his last three games, but those appearances have been spread out over a span of six days. His status as a fourth outfielder severely limits his fantasy value.

The St. Petersburg Times reports that the Tampa Bay Rays have signed free-agent outfielder Gabe Kapler to a one-year deal worth $1 million.
Our View:
Kapler hit eight home runs and drove in 38 RBI in reserve duty a year ago with the Brewers. The 33-year-old was perhaps baseball's hottest hitter the first few weeks of the season in 2008, going 11-for-26 with four home runs and 11 RBI.
