As the calendar turns to July, league standings have stratified and needs are pretty clear. Players that aren't delivering what you expecting have used up their grace period, now it's time to figure out to plug those holes. Waiting on David Wright's power to make up your home run gap is too risky at this point in the season. The 20+ steals you were hoping to get from Corey Hart isn't coming and frankly you should be thrilled with his pace of 11 given how much his manager, Ken Macha, hates the stolen base. What I'd like to do today is take a tour around the league highlighting a series of hitters I love for the last three months of the season. Some of them are high-profile players (although I'm not going to waste time stating the obvious of how good Ichiro Suzuki and Mark Teixeira are), while others are gap-fillers most suitable for single leagues and deeper mixed leagues.
