In hopes of restoring Super Bowl glory that Redskins fans seemed to enjoy in the '80s and early '90s, Daniel Snyder and the 'Skins organization brought back Hall of Fame head coach Joe Gibbs at the end of the '03 season. Gibbs' comeback venture was short lived and resulted in only two playoff appearances ('05 and '07) with only one playoff victory ('05 over Tampa Bay). After an up and down season, which included the tragic death of Sean Taylor, Gibbs decided that his time in D.C. was over and chose to hang up the clipboard at the end of last season.Associate Editor
