At the end of the first day in this year's NFL Draft, it was pretty clear that the Washington Redskins hoped to provide QB Jason Campbell with more options than just Chris Cooley and the oft-injured Santana Moss. They successfully added more weapons to Campbell's arsenal by drafting two WRs and a TE (WR, TE, WR – in that order) in the second round. With the 34th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Entry Draft, the Skins selected Michigan State standout WR Devin Thomas. Alongside newcomer HC Jim Zorn, Thomas' strength and speed should make him an instant target and a quality wideout at the professional level.
