Wins at Phoenix International Raceway typically come in pairs. Since 2000, there have been four repeat winners on the Arizona flat track, all of which have been back-to-back: Jeff Burton in 2000 and 2001, Dale Earnhardt Jr. in 2003 and 2004, and Kevin Harvick swept the 2006 races. There’s also Jimmie Johnson, who walked away with last November’s win and this past April’s victory. Now the trick will be for “J.J.” to be the first to win three straight.Contributing Editor
