Patriots Roasted Golden Brown
It's hard to determine what was more shocking in the Dolphins/Patriots game, the fact that the Dolphins completely dominated the New England Patriots 38-13 or the fact that Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown single-handedly torched the Patriots defense for five touchdowns. Brown finished the game with 17 carries for 113 yards and four rushing touchdowns (a Dolphins franchise record) and completed one passing attempt to tight end Anthony Fasano for a 19-yard score. Apparently Brown's ACL injury is no longer an issue and fantasy owners can once again rely on Brown to be the focal point in the Dolphins offense.

LJ Finds Paydirt...Finally
Even though the Chiefs were manhandled once again for the third straight week and fell to 0-3, running back Larry Johnson finally got things going and managed to find the end zone for the first time this season. On 24 rushing attempts, Johnson ran for 121 yards and reassured fantasy owners who have stuck with him thus far. Apparently he still knows what the goal line looks like and can make it there every now and then. By the way, in this game against the Falcons, Michael Turner once again stole the show with 23 rushing attempts for 104 yards and three touchdowns. Through three games played, Turner has run for 366 yards and five touchdowns.

Good Morning, Bengals Offense

T.J. Houshmandzadeh and the Bengals offense got on track Sunday.
After two horrid weeks in which the Bengals managed to score one offense touchdown, it would appear that they now indeed register a pulse and are awake from their slumber. In Sunday's game against the New York Giants, Carson Palmer and T.J. Houshmandzadeh showed actual signs of life and hooked up 12 times for 146 yards and one touchdown. Running back Chris Perry proved to be an offensive threat, running for 74 yards and one score on 20 attempts. However, Cincy still lost, and things won't get any better, as the 0-3 Bengals will face a tough Pittsburgh team next week.

Brian Westbroken
The Eagles most versatile and utilized weapon, Brian Westbrook, sustained an ankle injury in Sunday's action against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Westbrook was injured in the second quarter after landing awkward on his right ankle and limped off to the locker room shortly after. Before exiting the game, Westbrook ran for 12 yards on five attempts. It's unclear right now as to the extent of Westbrook's injury, but he was in obvious pain as he walked off the field. For all of you Westbrook owners, if you haven't already, you might want to handcuff Correll Buckhalter in case the star's injury is more severe.

Two Jaguars, One Touchdown
Arguably the best RBBC in the NFL was back in usual form this week, as the tandem of Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor ran for more than 220 yards on the ground against the Colts. The Jags offensive line has been a complete mess lately and fantasy owners have to be delighted to see that Jacksonville can still be successful on the ground. The ageless wonder himself, Taylor led the duo with 121 yards on 26 attempts. While Taylor managed to rack up more yards, Jones-Drew was able to tally the Jaguars' lone offensive touchdown.

Not So Frerotten
After his team started the season 0-2 and looked dreadful in the passing game, Vikings head coach Brad Childress decided (or was ordered) that he had had enough of Tarvaris Jackson and pulled the plug on his season. Jackson's replacement, Gus Frerotte, not only came in and played fairly consistent, but he managed to get the Vikings their first win of the season. Frerotte, who will forever be defined by his one head-butting moment, completed 16-of-28 passes for 204 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Even though these numbers aren't real impressive, Frerotte showed more promise in four quarters than Jackson has in a year and a half.

Breesy In Denver
Since starting the season with an impressive Week 1 win over the Buccaneers, Drew Brees and the Saints have lost the last two games, thanks in large part to suspect play on the defensive side of the ball. In Sunday's action against the Broncos, Brees showed why he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, as he completed 39-of-48 passes for 421 yards and one touchdown. With just three games into the season, Brees is just 20 yards shy of 1,000 and has thrown for five touchdowns. While Brees was throwing the ball all over the field in Denver, Brian Griese quietly joined Brees in the 400+ yard club in Chicago, as he completed 38-of-67 passing attempts for 407 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Big Ben Gets Clocked
Ben Roethlisberger had a day that he would soon like to forget. The Steelers offensive line allowed the Eagles defense to get to Big Ben nine different times. Roethlisberger was under pressure all game and those nine sacks definitely took a toll on his body. With minutes left on the clock in the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger exited the game with an apparent hand injury and never returned to action. Roethlisberger finished the game with 13-of-25 for 131 yards and one interception. Between this hand injury and his already tweaked shoulder, Roethlisberger's status for Week 4 is unknown as of right now.
